The CERA project aims to build a sustainable ecosystem that connects large Jordanian enterprises with underserved local suppliers.
Network Building - building an alliance of 30 members
We will begin by identifying and assessing 30 large Jordanian enterprises to join our network. Through assessing their procurement needs and requirements for an enhanced local supply chain, we will identify potential opportunities for local suppliers and help the alliance members diversify their supply chains.
Identification of potential suppliers (90 MSMEs in underserved areas)
Our team will map out local suppliers in underserved areas and conduct a diagnostic for each supplier to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. Based on the analysis, we will develop an intervention plan to help suppliers improve their operations and meet the needs of our alliance members. We will also implement quality control measures to ensure that suppliers meet corporate standards.
Capacity building for suppliers (upgrading the level of local suppliers)
Our team will map out local suppliers in underserved areas and conduct a diagnostic for each supplier to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. Market facilitation (linking suppliers in underserved areas with larger enterprises)
Our team will facilitate connections between alliance members and the smaller,local suppliers in underserved areas. We will organize B2B meetings, connect purchase managers with suppliers, and host expos to showcase the capabilities of local suppliers.
