About
When we established Al Farida Cheese and Dairy Factory as a modest project in the Jordanian countryside, our ambition was to develop a product based on the region's local sheep and goat milk resources. Today, 25 years later, we find that Al Farida cheese has revitalized the livestock sector in large areas of Zarqa and Mafraq governorates, because we buy milk from nearly 100 livestock farmers at fair prices and favorable terms. The Al Farida family is proud to belong to this beautiful part of Jordan and to be part of the social fabric of the villages of Alalouk, Masra, Birin, Sarwat and the surrounding areas, and we aspire to continue to be a model for true rural development in Jordan.
Dr. Hamid has dedicated his career to developing our country's traditional products to enter the 21st century as a living heritage that meets the requirements of the times and meets the health and safety standards of today's world. We in the “Al Farida” family are determined to follow in the footsteps of our founder, and we look forward to more good products that are firmly rooted in our land and culture and that are manufactured and offered to you in innovative ways that suit your modern lifestyle.
