When visiting Ajloun Castle or one of the tourist sites in the governorate, the visitor searches among many souvenirs bearing images of the Pink City, Jerash, and others, but finds only simple embroidered items labeled “Made in China.” This is how the Nashmi Ajloun project was created, which aims to provide products with the identity of the archaeological sites in the governorate. The Nashmi Ajloun project, which aims to provide products bearing the identity of the province's archaeological sites, was established as the first home-based artisan project in Ajloun governorate. The project works to provide products such as personalized gifts and decorations that symbolize Ajloun Governorate with distinctive quality and competitive prices. Many different products are manufactured, such as thermal printing, wood products, gypsum, embroidery, vinyl, resin, pottery, accessories, wax, triple printing, leather, fabrics, and various decorative tools. It also works to provide various services and products for various categories, while emphasizing the continuity of work during the active tourism period in the spring and summer, especially with the opening of the cable car. It continues to sell souvenirs, in addition to offering customized products for personalized events throughout the year, craft education and entertainment products, and products for national and community celebrations. The project's ongoing development efforts and investment equipment include the use of profits to support the project and achieve sustainable growth.
