Corporate Entrepreneurship Responsibility (CER) is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach that focuses on promoting entrepreneurship as a means to achieve social, environmental, and economic goals. By prioritizing entrepreneurship, businesses can generate economic growth, create employment opportunities, foster innovation, and contribute to sustainable development. CER recognizes that businesses have a responsibility to go beyond their traditional profit-making objectives and contribute to the well-being of society and the environment, and that entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for achieving these objectives. This approach is well utilized in our Corporate Entrepreneurship Responsibility Alliance (CERA) project, which urges larger enterprises to support entrepreneurs and MSMEs in integrating their products into local and international supply chains. In doing so, we aim to create new business opportunities within the local underserved communities, generate employment, increase economic activity, and contribute to the economic development of Jordan.
